Glossary of Terms
Anchor Text - a page on a web site that is optimized for a given keyword phrase.
Googlebot - The googlebot is googles web site crawling robot that crawls the internet indexing web pages so people can find them using their search engine.
Landing Page - a page on a web site that is optimized for a given keyword phrase.
Page Rank - a ranking google gives each web page based on the “importance” of the web page. This ranking is a value from 0-10 and is used to help google prioritize the search results for a given search.
Supplemental Index - Google has a second index other than the primary index where it puts pages that either have duplicate content or content that is not relevant to the keywords on the page. Page in the supplemental index have a much lower priority than any pages in the primary index
